Partner Spotlight:
The Richmond Neighborhood Center
Thriving Communities. Empowered Youth. Nourished Families.

At the Richmond Neighborhood Center, we know that a student’s success isn’t just shaped in the classroom — it’s shaped by the strength of their community. That’s why we provide wraparound support that meets people where they are: before, during, and after school, at home, and in the neighborhood. From youth leadership programs to food security, social-emotional learning to job training, we’re building a holistic ecosystem where families, schools, and communities thrive together.

What started in the Richmond District has grown into a citywide movement. This year alone, we expanded to Potrero Hill and the Sunset, bringing our proven model to new neighborhoods and reaching more lives. Whether it’s helping a teen land their first job, ensuring a family has groceries for the week, or creating space for neighbors to connect, we’re not just serving communities — we’re helping them flourish.

This program is invaluable to our family! My husband and I both work, and don’t make enough money to pay for another program. Having affordable aftercare on site is one reason we can afford to stay in the city. And it is high-quality care with an amazing staff- they truly care about our children and we know we can trust them to handle any situation that arises. – Afterschool Enrichment Program Participant

Smiles, friendship, and belonging—just another joyful day at The Richmond Neighborhood Center, where we empower youth and uplift our diverse community.
